06/07/17 An exciting week for Taylored Mindset. I am in London all week at lots of good workshops and lectures. It all kicks off with the Elite Sport Expo at the ExCel centre in London. Lots of talks on rehabilitation and organisation in elite sport. Friday and Saturday will comprise of more workshops; I am also attending an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy workshop at City, University of London, as well as heading to UCL for a day of workshops on pre-performance which is run by Fulham Football Club. Some great CPD opportunities which can provide some thought provoking insights into the multi-disciplinary cohesion of elite sport.
Watch out for my blogs for Resolute too which can be found on their website and social media accounts: weareresolute. Resolute is an exciting new company which was born from a brain tumour. Their values are very similar to ours when it comes to exercise. The main focus is around well-being and fitness; their main goals are to get people more active, turn negative energy into positive results and to help charities beat cancer. They’ve brought out a brilliant clothing line called “Still” which is all about gaining clarity and relaxation through exercise. Even better, they donate 20% of their profits to their chosen charities.
Keep an eye on their Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages for updates. I shall be blogging about the benefits of exercise for mental well-being, as well as how to be proactive with your exercising.
